Jatoba Quartzite Slab
Jatoba takes its name from the Brazilian hardwood it echoes in tone — black and brown through beige, grey and orange, finished with a leather texture rather than honed or polished.
It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and the leather finish gives it a soft, low-sheen surface that pairs particularly well with timber given the wood-toned colour story.
A leather finish is applied with diamond-tipped brushes that texture the surface without fully polishing it, leaving a slightly undulating, matte-to-satin surface — different again from both honed (flat and smooth) and polished (glossy) finishes elsewhere in the range.
