Blu Roma Quartzite Slab
Blu Roma runs a more saturated, consistent blue than Ijen Blue or Olympia elsewhere in the range, with brown and white moving through it — one of the boldest colour statements in the quartzite category.
It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and works best as a genuine feature stone rather than a background material, given how far it departs from the greys and beiges more typical of natural stone.
Despite the name, the blue in stones like this comes from the same family of trace minerals responsible for blue quartzite generally — dumortierite and riebeckite among them — rather than any connection to the city the name references, which is simply a marketing convention common across the stone trade.
