Calacatta Mezza Machia C Marble Slab
Calacatta Mezza Machia C sits within the broader Calacatta family — Italian marbles quarried from the Apuan Alps, known for a whiter, brighter base than Carrara and typically bolder, more widely spaced veining. This one runs a restrained grey vein through a predominantly white ground.
It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and reads as a cleaner, quieter option within the Calacatta family compared to more heavily veined stones like Calacatta Viola.
‘Calacatta’ isn’t a single stone but a family of marbles from a specific area of the Apuan Alps, sharing a whiter base than Carrara but varying considerably in veining density and colour from block to block — which is why Calacatta marbles are sold under so many distinct names rather than one generic label.
