Black Hawk Marble Slab

Black Hawk is a Pakistani marble — a less commonly seen origin than the Italian marbles that dominate the range — running deep black through brown and white veining.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and works as a genuine dark alternative to the grey-and-white marbles more typical of the category, without going as saturated as a stone like Verde Alpi.

Black marble gets its colour from a high concentration of carbon or bituminous material trapped in the limestone during formation — the same mineral family responsible for grey veining elsewhere in the range, just present in much greater quantity here.
