Travertino Alabastrino Unfilled Travertine Slab

This is the unfilled version of Travertino Alabastrino — the same warm beige stone, but left with its natural surface holes and pitting intact rather than smoothed over with a filler.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and gives a rawer, more overtly textured surface than the filled version — a genuine difference in feel underfoot or under hand, not just appearance.

Travertine’s holes and fissures form naturally as mineral deposits build up around hot springs, trapping gas bubbles and organic matter that later dissolve out — filling is a finishing choice, not a correction, and leaving it unfilled is simply a different, equally valid way to present the same stone.
