Grigio Carnico Marble Slab

Grigio Carnico takes its name from the Carnic Alps in northeastern Italy — a different quarrying region to the Apuan Alps stones that make up most of the grey marble range, though the resulting colour, grey through white, sits in similar territory.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and offers a genuinely different sourcing story from the Tuscan marbles even where the finished look reads similarly.

Marble is quarried across several distinct regions of Italy, not just Tuscany’s Apuan Alps — the Carnic Alps, Veneto and Puglia all have their own marble traditions, each producing stone with slightly different mineral character even when the visual result looks comparable on a showroom floor.
