Ceppo Toscano Slab

Ceppo Toscano is a conglomerate stone — beige and grey, with black, charcoal, cream and white fragments visible throughout, giving it a naturally terrazzo-like pattern despite being a single quarried material rather than a manufactured composite.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and works well anywhere a terrazzo look is wanted but a genuine quarried stone is preferred over an aggregate-and-binder composite.

Ceppo forms when fragments of older rock get cemented together naturally over geological time, producing a pattern that looks deliberately composed but is entirely the product of how the stone formed — the resemblance to terrazzo is coincidental, not the other way around, since natural conglomerates like this predate manufactured terrazzo by millions of years.
