Grigio Collemandina Marble Slab

Grigio Collemandina takes its name from the Garfagnana valley in Tuscany, quarried alongside the same broader Apuan Alps system as Carrara and the Arabescato marbles. It runs a soft grey and taupe base through beige, cream and white — a quieter, more tonal stone than the higher-contrast Arabescato veining.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture — a good option where a lower-contrast, more even-toned marble is wanted rather than a stone with dramatic dark veining.

The grey-taupe tone comes from clay and carbon impurities distributed fairly evenly through the original limestone, rather than concentrated into distinct veins, which is why it reads more tonal than veined up close.
