Marinace Red is a Brazilian granite combining grey and red with black, pink and white through the pattern — a genuinely warm, high-contrast stone compared to the greyscale granites more typical of the category.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and brings granite’s durability to a considerably bolder colour story than most benchtop-grade stone.

Granite’s colour range comes down to its mineral mix — feldspar, quartz, mica and, in stones like this one, additional minerals responsible for the red and pink tones — visible as distinct flecks rather than the flowing veining you’d see in marble, since granite forms through crystallisation rather than the layered process behind sedimentary and metamorphic stone.
