Deep River Marble Slab

Deep River is a Turkish marble combining grey and rust tones through beige and brown — an earthy, warm-cool mix that reads quite differently to the more common grey-and-white or black-and-gold Turkish stones in the range.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and the rust colouring in particular sets it apart from most of the marble range, which otherwise leans heavily grey, white or black.

Rust tones in marble come from oxidised iron minerals — chemically the same family responsible for gold veining elsewhere in the range, just present in a form and concentration that reads as a deeper red-brown rather than gold.
