Cristallo Ametista Slab
Cristallo Ametista takes its name — Italian for ‘amethyst’ — from its soft pink base, running through white, beige, grey and yellow, polished to a full gloss that brings out the crystalline structure.
It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and is one of the few genuinely pink-toned natural stones in the range, alongside Calacatta Viola’s burgundy.
Like Cristallo Imperiale elsewhere in the range, this is a quartz-rich metamorphic stone rather than true marble — the pink tone comes from trace manganese or iron minerals, similar in origin to the colouring mechanism behind rose quartz.
