Calacatta Vagli Marble Slab

Calacatta Vagli is a white Italian marble with bold, dramatic grey veining, quarried near the same Vagli area as Arabescato Vagli but graded and marketed under the Calacatta name for its heavier, more contrasting movement.

It suits kitchen benchtops, bathrooms, feature walls and flooring, and works well as a genuine statement stone wherever strong veining is the goal rather than a subtler background pattern.

Quarries in the Vagli area of the Apuan Alps produce marble sold under both the Arabescato and Calacatta names depending on the specific veining character of each block — a reminder that these are grading and marketing terms describing a look, not strictly separate mineral deposits.
