Calacatta Borghini Marble Slab

Calacatta Borghini combines gold and grey veining through a white Calacatta base, polished to a full gloss — a warmer read than the more common grey-only Calacattas, thanks to the gold running alongside.

It suits kitchen benchtops, cladding, flooring and furniture, and works well where some warmth is wanted from a Calacatta-family stone without moving to a fully warm-toned marble like Giallo Siena.

Gold veining in white marble comes from iron oxide impurities alongside the more typical carbon-based grey veining — when both are present in the same block, as they are here, the result is a stone with genuine tonal range rather than a single-colour vein.
